Guys and Girls,

I have a bunch of Mac Canvas files that I can not open since Canvas has been discontinued. Does anyone know of another application that can open Canvas .cvx files?

See if the free download of ACDSee Photo Studio 6 for Mac can open the .cvx files, and allow a non-watermarked export to another more friendly format. I believe many of the applications on this free trial page are Windows only. It is my understanding that with Canvas 11, it was specifically released for Windows.

OOPs, talking about Canvas Draw, sorry...

Even opens .CV5 files if I rename the Extension to .CNV

Thank you, thank you, thank, you. This was the place to go. Canvas Draw Canvas GFX, Inc. was originally part of Deneba Systems, and was acquired in 2003 by ACD Systems International Inc. I had the original Deneba software and when it was discontinued I lost track of it. But it seems to be up and running again and reads all of my old files.

I did try the ACDSee that VikingOSX and BDAqua suggested below but didn't seem to work, but thanks guys anyway. Canvas Draw seems to be a continuation of my original software.
