MacBook Screen Issue

My laptop fell from my bed to the floor and when I picked it up the screen was not working. At first there were lines running across the bottom of the screen and down the right side of the screen when there seems the point of contact was (bottom right corner) but the rest of the screen was black. The screen is now semi-working very slowly. The lines are still there but the middle of the screen you can see (with small lines going through) The mouse takes a very long time to move if it ever even does. I checked and I guess my Apple coverage for the laptop is expired. Is there anything I can do besides a monitor (I have to take it to different places for my job)?
