Sidecar and AirPlay

I am unable to see the Airplay Icon on my MacBook Air top set up Sidecar. Pl help

Go to System Preferences-->>Displays

Choose the Display tab

Look at the bottom left and ensure that there is a check mark near "Show mirroring options in the menu bar when available"

For Sidecar click on this link for more information Use your iPad as a second display for your Mac with Sidecar - Apple Support

Scroll all the way down when you click on the link above and read about system requirements to ensure that your MacBook Air and the device that you are using for Sidecar display are compatible. If your MacBook Air is not then you will not have an option for Sidecar on your MacBook Air running macOS Catalina.
