requests pin multiple times for Army email on Mac

Hello,

I have my Mac setup to use my CAC to login to my AKO, DOD email, etc. But when I try to login to my email it requests my pin multiple times and it continues to request it as I go through my inbox, reply to emails, etc. does anybody have any ideas on how I can make it only ask for my pin once?

CAC - common access card

AKO - army knowledge online

DOD - department of defense

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

Can I configure a mailbox to be receive only and prevent any sending? I have several email accounts set up as normal. The server filters dubious, but potentially valid emails from several addresses into a singe 'real' account named Junk@xyzdomain. Safari asking to authenticate user when attempting to log onto AF email. "Safari" is trying to authenticate user. Enter pin to allow this. PIN: This has never happened before, was able to access all gov sites like normal until today. Ive tried every combo I could think of for this pin and nothing works. I know my CAC pin and that's not working and I've tried to use my account user password and also not working. Any help would be great, thanks

Exchange Password Required This is getting really quite frustrating. I keep getting the message Exchange Password Required "Enter your password for "my name" in Internet Accounts" on my MacBook Air. Now this never happens on my iPhone or iPad or Mac. Only on the MacBook Air. Yet all the configurations and settings are identical on each device. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a fix ? my MacBook air is up to date and it is becoming really annoying.
