Downloading MOV files from iPhone to PC

I have been trying to download MOV files from my iPhone 8 to my PC.

I even tried to move them one buy one but each time the phone is disconnected and will not continue the download. I have been trying for weeks now. Sometimes using the prescribed method (Windows 10) and other times utilising total commander. It doesn't matter what I do it will not move the MOV files!

I have trawled the internet and there appear to be others having the same problem - the only advice I can find is the standard " How to download photos and movies from your iPhone" which, as previously stated, does not work with the MOV files.

Please can you advise?
