Could Not Activate iPad

I suppose my iOS software had been updated, and NOW, I can't use my iPad. The screen says that the iPad "could not be activated because the server is temporarily unavailable". "Try connecting to iTunes, or try again in a few minutes" I can't connect to iTunes, because it isn't activated, and after many dozens of attempts, it still won't activate. This has been going on for 5 days now. How can I reactivate my iPad, so I can use it again?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, in advance.

If your iPad reports that it cannot reach the activation server - and to try again later - then this might indicate that the activation server is currently offline (this happens on occasion). Wait a while - and then try again. Alternatively, you can connect your iPad to a PC/Mac - and attempt activation via iTunes.

Your Home broadband router is also a possible source of the problem. Restart your home router (power off and wait 10 seconds before restoring power) and allow to reboot - then try to activate your device.

Thank you, LotusPilot, for your response. However, this did not resolve my problem. I cannot connect to iTunes, and the iPad remains in limbo, with the same screen displayed in the image above. Also resetting the router did not correct the problem.
