cursor keeps moving around even when the trackpad is not touched

dear sir, i have been encountering this strange malfunctioning of my MacBook. the cursor keeps moving around even when i have not touched the trackpad. This got me so uncomfortable so i went in for a wireless mouse. To my utmost surprise, the problem still persist even with the mouse.
