Ability to get Apps

In the Apps Store it requires my Touch ID which I setup when setting up my I7 phone. However, the phone doesn’t read the ID so I am not able to get Apps. Is it possible to change to the Passcode instead of the Touch ID to get access to Apps? I only use the Passcode to open my phone.

i figures it out somehow. It still asked for Touch ID but I tapped it and then it just asked for my Passcode. Thanks.

Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > iTunes & App Store [Disable]

That did not work. I turned off my phone and turned on again but I still can’t download an App without Touch ID?
