No sound from MacBook Pro following HDMI connection to TV
I've repeated these steps several times;
- Restart MacBook Pro - sound works ok.
- Connect MacBook to TV via USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adaptor and high-grade gold HDMI cable.
- Sound works ok on TV.
- Disconnect adaptor from MacBook
- At some time later, play play back voice memo, watch YouTube, etc. NO SOUND.
- Check everything as per Apple Support: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203186 - still no sound.
- Restart MacBook - sound OK
Anyone have any idea why, after connecting MacBook to TV through Digital AV Multiport/HDMI cable, sound does not work on MacBook until after a reboot?
