I’ve recently bought an iPhone XS off of eBay, but the previous owner isn’t replying to my messages/calls as to getting it removed... what’s my best option??
i tried the Apple website but it only mentions if the previous owner is with you or in contact with you... the previous owner of the phone I bought is ghosting me...
If the phone was advertised as unlocked, contact eBay to determine if a return/refund is possible. Activation lock can not be bypassed.
Most of the time if you have an issue with a purchase the seller will be able to solve it for you. However, if after 3 business days the seller hasn't been able to resolve your problem, you can ask us to step in and help within 21 business days of opening the request.

The advert has since gone as the phone was bought... would eBay be able to recover the ad to check? As I cannot remember... I doubt it would have been advertised as locked otherwise why would they be dodging my calls/texts???
