MacBook Pro (2017) randomly shutting down

Hi,

Recently my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) has been randomly shutting down throughout the day. When I press the power button it says it is out of battery even if it is fully charged. And when I plug in the charger to turn it on, there is still tons of battery left. Sometimes it even shuts off while it is being charges. Should I go to the store and change the battery? I am updated the the most recent update (Catalina).

Thanks,

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15
