Edge for iMAC
Given that my IMAC will not accept Internet Explorer, please advise what alternative I might use. For example, will Microsoft Edge work on Macs? If so, how should I download Edge for my desktop MAC?

Still not a recommendation (haven't tried it), but yesterday Microsoft made the following announcement: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge
and it can be downloaded at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge
Why do you need Internet Explorer or Edge?
If you need to run a Microsoft Browser for some reason, you would need to install some version of Windows on it.
Easiest and most straight forward thing to do, if IE is absolutely necessary, is to install a Windows virtual machine on something like Parallels or Virtual Box.
Microsoft offers free Windows Images with specific versions of Internet Explorer or Edge for use for a limited amount of time here: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/vms/
Never mind. Did not know, Microsoft had released a version of Edge for Mac now. That makes things much easier. I will leave my suggestion here in case it useful though.
I wouldn't recommend it, but see the following: https://blogs.windows.com/msedgedev/2019/05/20/microsoft-edge-macos-canary-preview/
An alternative: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
I appreciate all of the responses. However, I found that FIREFOX MOZILLA worked for my purposes at this time. I will need to use Firefox again, or Edge (if I can download it without any problems) in the near future.
Thanks,
