Help! All of my music refuses to transfer to my ipod touch.

I have tried syncing, back up mode, etc to transfer all 3,000+ songs from my itunes account to my new ipod touch. the ipod is 128 gb; it has plenty of space, but every time i select all of the songs, only 1,000 of them transfer. can someone please help me? i just want to import all of my music to my ipod touch.

Hello,

Within iTunes > Uncheck Music synchronization for your iPod > Sync your iPod > Once all the music has been removed then re-check music synchronization.
