Hi!
When trying to send a photo (a Lightroom export in .jpg) from finder on my MacBook 2018 in iMessage, I get this error notification "failed to send message" (in Dutch, don't know exact English translation). When I import this photo in the Photo app, iMessage will send it right away. Also, when I send it to my phone I can send it with iMessage.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Have you tried Force Quitting Finder to see if that resets Finder? menu/Force Quit.

In addition: when I put the photo on the desktop, I can send it as well. So Finder seems to be the problem.
Yes I have, unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem.
