How do I remove virus on MacBook air

i downloaded an adobe flash pop up without thinking, now I know that it was fake and it won’t let me search on safari or the App Store, and it’s not on the whole computer because I can still use my moms profile, but I would appreciate the help if you guys have any suggestions, thank you in advance
