Apple Watch Workout app and Peloton App

Hello,

Does using the workout app and Peloton app to record the same ride skew your Activity and Health results by recording the same workout twice, i.e. doubling the active calories burned and other metrics?

Hi uptownmike,

Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems like you want to know if the Activity app will count your activity twice if two apps are recording data. If it is used as a source in the Activity app you can disable the other source.

"Add information from other apps

  1. Open the Health app.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the upper-right corner
  3. Under Privacy, tap Apps. You can see apps that you already own that are compatible with Health. If you don't see an app, it might not be compatible.
  4. Tap an app and turn on the health categories that you want that app to track.

You might also need to open the app and adjust its settings to allow it to share data with Health. "

Manage Health data on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch

Please don't hesitate to let us know if the steps resolved your issue or if you need additional assistance.

Cheers.
