iMac connects wirelessly but not through ethernet

Today, both of my iMacs no longer connect to my time capsule via ethernet.

My Roku's connect via ethernet.

What do I try?

Cannot get mac to connect to Time Capsule as a drive; TC works as a network though. I cannot get my Mac to connect to the TimeCapsule Drive, though it connects to the internet via the TC WiFi network. Airport Utility picks up the TC on my phone, but not on the iMac. All software and firmware is up to date. If the TC is plugged into the Mac, it works fine as a drive, but since the router is in a different location, it won't work as a network device.

Cannot get mac to connect to Time Capsule as a drive; TC works as a network though. A few weeks ago, I find that the airport utility cannot see the TC on my iMac OS10.13.6 High Sierra, (but the wifi network is ok). I follow the method from previous solved question. Now I cannot use time machine to backup to the TC drive or even copy files to/from it. furthermore, I also have a MacBook running OS 10.15.7 Catalina, which is still working fine without any problem with that TC. any suggestions? whats can I do now? Thanks.

why can I not connect my imac via LAN. WLAN why can I not connect my IMAC via LAN. Only WLAN is operating without problems.

Please restart in Safe Mode per Safe Mode Reset instructions and then restart normally and re-test. If that does not work, please reset the NVRAM per the instructions in NVRAM Reset.

Did you try disablingWifi for a test?
