AirPods Pro 2 case tracking not working. I recently got the new AirPods Pro 2 and the tracking for the case isn’t working. It doesn’t even show up on my find my app. I have the iphoen xs max, could that be the reason why it’s not working? I don’t have the money to buy a new phone though.

No. You can't track them even with an iPhone.

AirPods do not have GPS since it's an accessory, so they can't connect to the servers. You can only locate them if they are in the Bluetooth range.
