Siri watchface not showing calender events correctly

With the recent watchOS update the sire watch face doesn't show calendar events correctly anymore.

I just factory reset the watch (series 1) and the watchface shows an upcoming event for the next day, so everything seems fine at this point.

However, the next day the same event still shows up for "tomorrow" while it is scheduled for the current day.

The actual scheduled events for "tomorrow" do not show up on the siri watchface.

The calendar itself is syncing to the watch as the calendar app shows the correct events and even shows notifications. it's just he siri watchface that doesn't seem to update the calendar data source?

Disabling and re-enabling the data source doesn't change a thing.

Thanks to this tip I took a look in my iPhone, went in Settings > Siri & Search, and found that under "Siri suggestions" none of the Suggestions in search, look up or lock screen were toggled on ! I'll take a guess here and say that the one that fixed the issue was the "suggestions on lock screen" toggle.

thanks for the idea on the siri sources shadowdweller and hope this helps everyone!

This has been driving me crazy for several months now. I have a routine that seems to work, but it's gotten to the point where I have to do this almost every day:

  1. Turn off the Calendar in Siri Datasources
  2. Wait for 2-3 minutes just to make sure any residual info has cleared from the watch
  3. Reset the watch (hold crown and side-button together for a few seconds until Apple logo appears)
  4. Once watch comes back on, unlock it if necessary
  5. Wait until all other information is displayed properly on the watch (may take a few minutes)
  6. Turn calendar datasource back on

It's super annoying to have to do this every day. My watch (Series 1) went for years without this problem, but it's now persistent. I had just converted my wife to using the Siri watch face on her watch (Series 5) shortly before this problem started, and she loved it -- for a couple of weeks -- and had to go back to the modular watch face because the calendar is now unreliable on the Siri watch face. I'm slowly questioning my long-time investment in Apple products, as this seems to be just one example of a growing number of issues with Apple's software.

I have the same issue. For several months now, also under the old WatchOS. In the meantime, I keep missing appointments in the office. I always say, yes, it's the Apple Watch - really great promotion! It has also nothing to do with resetting sync data from watch. It only works if I restart the watch. Only I do is, every night I use the flight mode in my bedroom, maybe this interrupts the connection to the watch.
