Has anyone else had success in getting there IPhone covered under warranty after it got submerged in water?

None of us work for Apple. This is a user to user support forum where we try to help each other with software and hardware issues. There is nothing here that anybody can do to help with a water damaged iPhone.
I directed you to an article where Apple explains how the water resistance is tested on the phones. Nowhere in that article do they call the device waterproof.
The phone is not waterproof. It is water resistant.

Water damage is not covered by the warranty.
Nowhere has Apple ever claimed the iphone is waterproof.
The one meter thing is the testing conditions used to acquire water resistance rating, done under laboratory conditions. It is not a suggestion for real world use.
Calling my IPhone X “Water resistant up to one metre” gives me the buyer a false impression that it’s somewhat water proof . In my opinion this should be classified as false advertising especially since no warranty is given in the case of water damage. Apple should not rate these phones as water resistant when they are obviously not. Furthermore Apples repair depot wants over $700.00 to repair it which is ridiculous considering Apple is advertising Brand New Iphone x’s for $799.00 . Time for me to switch to another company not that they’ll be any better, the consumer and the environment are the loser in all these scenarios and companies like Apple are partially to blame.
You are completely wrong, no one believes a phone marketed as water resistant is water proof.
No phone manufacturer that makes water proof phones covers water damage.
So good luck buying another phone and destroying it by submerging it in water.
The warranty won't cover it.

I am posting this from my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus.
Samsung also advertised it as water resistant and will not cover it under warranty if water damaged.
There is no false advertising.
You broke your phone.
Buy a new one and try not to destroy it.

After dropping my IPhone X in the bathtub for about a second before I took it out a green line appeared on my IPhone and it started to malfunction. Why does Apple advertise falsely that it’s water proof up to one metre?
