Contacts groups duplicated hundreds of times

Question:Contacts groups duplicated hundreds of times

(China, Family, Miami) hundreds of times each. Each one of the hundreds of groups has all my business contacts. Same with Family and Work. This is only on my Mac. iCloud and iPhone Contacts app all look normal. I've already tried logging out and back into my iCloud account and the issue just reappears. I only have about 350 contacts total, but multiplied by the hundreds of duplicates, I'm guessing I now have hundreds of thousands of contacts duplicated, which is probably why Contacts is so unstable now on my Mac.

I know how to delete duplicates, but with hundreds and hundreds of duplicates, deleting one by one is not an option. Is there a way to delete multiple groups at once? Or is there a way to delete the Contacts app from OS X and reinstall just that one app? Or is there some Terminal command I can execute to delete all the duplicates?

iPad Pro, iOS 13

At present is your iPhone , iPad and Mac signed in with same Apple ID and password on the same network and are they syncing post back .

Note : group names can't be duplicated multiple times , contacts can .

Select a group , hold shift key and tap the duplicate contacts , they will be selected and click on delete key , second way is select them , right click over them and export as v card , they will be moved in finder you have to decide the location , later delete from finder location .
