Hello,

I have an iPhone 6 and it has been disabled as I totally forgot the password. I tried to follow the usually described steps by connecting my phone to a computer and try to press the start bottom and the figure print bottom until I get the restoration mode where I can ask to restore the device. but my device is not regonized at all on my PC, the cable is not even charging it, although I tried three different cables... not sure what to do as this apparently did not work for me.

Thanks,

iPhone 6s, iOS 13

Connect iPhone to Computer / Mac

Use your USB lightening cable --> Resolve USB-related alerts in iTunes - Apple Support

If unable to connect --> If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support

Use genuine cable --> Identify counterfeit or uncertified Lightning connector accessories ...
