You do not say what exact Mac /model /year /size /retina /touchbar is this

or

what exact macOS you are currently running?


New problem, old problem, what changed to precipitate the issue?


Verify your software is up to date.


With the release of macOS 10.15 Catalina, applications will have to be 64-bit. App developers will issue updated apps if they want their apps to work on this newest macOS upgrade

Easy. Do a “get info” on the hard drive( Apple+I) and

at the bottom of the window , you’ll see a list of users

and permissions, and a padlock at the bottom. Click on the padlock

to unlock it( you’ll need your login/admin password) , click on the user

and change it, to read/write. The other users should be ‘system’ and ‘wheel’

after you are done, click the padlock to lock it and save changes. Type in password as

needed... and you’re done
