How do I access and clean my 'Other' portion of Macintosh HD

When viewing my Storage via Apple > About This Mac > Storage I have around 338 GB of space being taken up by "Other". I have no idea what this "Other" content is, but it seems quite large.

This is my work computer so I only have about 42GB os apps installed, 17GB of documents the rest of 1 TB SSD is System 11GB and Other is 338GB.

I'd like to figure out what's in Other so I can clear it out if it's useless or leave it alone if it's not. I get that Other usually contains cache type stuff etc, but from what I've seen it's not usually above 100GB's.

I'm running macOS Catalina: V_10.15.2 on a MBP 16-inch, 2019

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 16", macOS 10.15
