Annoying black dot

Hi! This Christmas I was given an iPad. I have used it every day since. Today I noticed a small black dot on my screen. First k thought it was a dust particle, but it didn't move. I have done some research, and I think it might be a stuck or a dead pixel. Or it it something else? And how do I fix it, it drives me crazy!
