No verification box

I’m trying to sign into the App Store but it says I need to enter a verification code. I receive the code but the box to enter it does not show up on the iPad.

iPad mini 3, iOS 8

did not receive verification code I have just bought my iphone 11 this afternoon, I have download a few apps like grab, whatsapp, those apps require verification code in order to log in, however, the phone i just bought did not receive any verification code for those few apps, why is this happen? is the phone problem or other reason?

If you see a password box, enter the password (ABC) followed by the code (123) or ABC123 (no spaces).

No verification box
