Search not working across my iPhone (iOS13.3)

I finally got my phone working again, as far as search etc by first updating to the latest os version. Then doing several steps sometimes a few times which were as follows.

reseting my language preference in settings from us to canadian english and back and forth couple times

second by asking for all my siri data to be removed from apple servers again through settings

then i did a hard reset of my location and language settings under settings-general-reset

and finally rebooted.

it annoyingly did not seem to have worked at all last night but this morning i finally after weeks woke up to a phone that could handle search etc again.

Sorry i don’t know specifically what did the trick, but may at least help?

I agree if you have 25GB free that is not the issue.

If that happened to me, I would force restart the iPhones as follows:

• Press and quickly release the volume up button
• Press and quickly release the volume down button
• Press and hold the on/off button until the Apple logo appears

Mine broke as well.

Along with several apps that are now crashing.

Search doesn’t work, nothing happen when i am typing in a search term now when i hit return at the end.

I can’t imagine we are alone in this, people just haven’t noticed it is not working or they do not know where to complain yet

Perhaps you lack free storage. Check Settings > General > iPhone Storage and be certain you never have less than 10%of your iPhone’s total storage free.
