iTunes Store sign in verification not working time after time

Trying to sign into iTunes on my Apple TV. Apple ID and password are input correctly, and 6 digit verification code is sent by apple. When I input the digits and hit OK, it takes me right back in the same circle of logging in again. No progress or luck getting through log in.

Found solution. Deleted account on Apple TV. Then set it up again as if it were a new account. Success. Something must have been wrong in the save settings somewhere.
