I am having an issue with logging onto Apple iTunes on Apple TV. I get through the password stage, only to find out I need an Apple verification number, which I then go back and type in my password and identification number and then it says that they are incorrect. This has happened numerous times. I know it is the right PW with verification code. Am I missing a space? Why doesn’t it work?
You have 2 factor authification enabled. After entering your Apple ID password a 4 digit code will be sent to your iPhone, iPad or Mac enter the AppleID PW again followed by the code with no spaces. Do it quickly or the code will time out.

You may experience that the code is getting invalidated by the time it takes to enter both the password and the verification code.
Instead, try this: First enter the characters of your password (do not submit yet), then manually request a new verification code, then append that code to the password within 30 seconds, then submit.
Use it then. But as I mentioned you must move quickly or the code will expire.
