Hi there, Fenny13.
I see that you're unable to obtain a verification code for two-factor authentication of your Apple ID. You no longer have a trusted device. You also note that iTunes shows that you've reached the maximum of associated devices, and I'm glad to help with these issues.
View and remove your associated devices for purchases -- Use the steps in this article to remove devices on your Mac or PC.
Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication -- This article provides several different methods to get a verification code. If you still can't gain access to your Apple ID:
"If you still can't sign in
If you can’t sign in, reset your password, or receive verification codes, you can request account recovery to regain access to your account. Account recovery might take a few days or longer, depending on the specific account information you can provide to verify your identity."
Take care.
This wasn’t much help at all as I can’t get to my iTunes account unless I have a PC or at least this is how I understand it. I need to disassociate the 5 PC’s registered to my account currently so I can then use another PC that I do have access to as a trusted device to run my iTunes on that. A bit of a catch 22?
Authorisation, association, and trust are different mechanisms. You should be able to deauthorize all computers using iTunes on a computer that has yet to be authorized or associated with your Apple ID. You do need to be able to sign into your Apple ID in iTunes to view your account, but existing authorizations or associations shouldn't prevent that.
