How to permanently disable Do not disturb mode ?

Hi,

In the past few weeks I noticed that I was missing many notifications. At first I thought it was the "Do not Disturb" (DnD) mode. However I disabled every single option in the notifications preferences for DnD but it keeps enabling itself randomly. I use 2 external monitor.

How can I disable DnD once and for all ? This is really annoying. Thanks

Did you read this part of the page?

Temporarily turn on Do Not Disturb

On your Mac, do one of the following:

  • In the menu bar, click the Notification Center icon , swipe down, then click the Do Not Disturb button.
  • Press and hold the Option key while you click the Notification Center icon in the menu bar.

The icon is dimmed to show Do Not Disturb is on. It stays on until midnight or until you turn it off, or until it’s scheduled to turn off (as specified in Notifications preferences).

I do not want to temporarily turn on or turn off Do not disturb. I want to disable it permanently, forever. I unchecked everything in notification preferences for do not disturb. Why is it still enabled ? I want to turn it off once and never have to do it again.

I tried to boot in safe mode and it's still the same. All preferences are "off" but DnD is enabled. I know it's very very minor issue, but if I configure it to be disabled it's supposed to be disabled.
