Restore Mojave
My MacBook Pro is too old to handle Catalina. I need to restore Mojave. I tried the TimeMachine and it is not bringing anything up. Is there another way

Too old (?) You do not say what exact Mac /model /year /size /retina /touchbar is this
or what exact macOS you are currently running?

Does it run just as slow in "Safe Mode"?
Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac
When you attempted to "undo" the upgrade following Apple's Revert your Mac to a previous macOS version instructions, what happened?

Something doesn't make sense since any MacBook Pro that can run Mojave can run Catalina. Can you provide more information?
To clarify my MacBook Pro is mid 2012. With the Catalina update it runs but is very slow. I want to restore back to Mojave because it seemed to run sufficiently for me needs.
