adding store bought CDs to an iPod touch

Hello...so I haven't added anything to my iPod touch for a couple/few years...so I decided I would add more to it yesterday...it has been awhile so thought I would start with just a few...I ripped a few store bought CDs to IiTunes.....they show in the recently added in the library although the artwork didn't.....so it said to plug my iPod in and go to music...then recently added below that to sync....which I did...but the cds do not show there...only in the the library...so when I sync of coarse nothing happens....I am including screenshots...can anyone help me please?.....
