Stolen phone

My phone was stolen and the individual somehow has access into my iPhone. I've already blacklisted the phone and tried changing the passwords and such to all the apps/information I can think of. However, the individual was able to remove the phone from my apple account. Is there anyway to make sure my information isn't on that phone anymore? Or another way to have apple enable a factory reset if it goes online again??

If you had a passcode on the iPhone and enabled Find My iPhone it should go into Activation Lock if they try to use it.
