Mac OS very much like Win10 (and Win7 btw) has its own AV and it's pretty sophisticated. The opinion here for many of us is that AV products for mac, clean up products, 3rd party management programs have a tendency to do more harm than good. Two noted exceptions on this forum are Etrecheck and Malwarebytes. However; this is a volunteer forum and we don't speak for Apple and AFIAK the vast majority of us don't work for Apple or never did.

SE/30! And even the Quantum 40mb hard drive stiction flaw didn’t dampen my joy of that machine. Owned it for 4 1/2 years, installed a color video card and upgraded the RAM. My wife used it in her office for a few years and then I repurposed it as her email server...a dongle provided Ethernet support.

My first was a MacPlus with a Massive 1 Meg of RAM.

I forget the brand but also had a Huge external 40 Meg

Hard Drive. The joys of SCSI, to terminate or not to terminate,

that was always the question.

At work I was enslaved to MS-DOS at the time which was a

real compatibility adventure with the myriad of PC vendors

at the time that each had their own idea of how things should

work.

Always got hassled about my Mac with the most common phrase,

"Real men don't use GUIs!"
