combo update OS High Sierra 10.13.6
I get the message that the update can't be installed on my hard disk as it doesn't meet the requirements. It still has 21 GB available

I was already running High Sierra 10.3.6 but wanted a reinstall. In the mean time I learned the right way (I guess) using command + R during booting and asking for a reinstall in Restore mode. Anyway thanks for your answer

What OS are you on now? Apple Icin at top left, about this Mac?
BTW... 21 GB is not enough free space for anything but holding your breath.
Good work... used to be you could Apply a Combo Update to fix OSX of the same version, anymore you have to trick 10.13.6 to install the 10.13.6 Combo... but you already solved it another way. :)
