Ram for 2019 iMac (19,1)

I purchased two 16GB sticks of Ram from OWC and the first set was fine then a couple of weeks latter I purchased another two 16GB of Ram from OWC.....the second set caused a Kernel Panic in about two hours. Now over the past 3 years this is the second time that happened with this vendor. My question is if I wanted to replace the bad set of OWC Ram with two sticks from Crucial can anyone see a real problem with that, that is, if the specs are otherwise identical. That is positively the last OWC Ram I will buy......oh and to make up for it I get the pleasure of paying return shipping??????

I can't see a problem with the same spec RAM. It's unusual to get bad RAM from OWC. Most experienced users recommend them, or Crucial. Personally I've never had bad RAM modules from OWC.

Thanks for the reply......option B is to let them attempt a replacement.......disappointed though in the return shipping.
