My MacBook Pro is infected with something called QuickLookSearches daemon. Every few minutes I get a pop up message asking "Do you want the application "QuickLookSearches" to accept incoming network connections?" Of course I click "Deny" but it keeps coming back.
Using Activity Monitor app I have tried to force quit the process, but nothing I do works. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

I am no expert but here is what I did, in detail. Open Finder, then Applications, then Utilities Folder, then open the Terminal.app. I then pasted into the Terminal app the string: "sudo rm /Library/LaunchDaemons/*Quick* ". Oh, I do think I had to restart my computer before it worked. It worked for me. I hope this works for you.

Hey if your still having problems try opening your security and privacy settings. Next click on firewall and press block all incoming connections it seemed to work for me hope this helps it was really frustrating!
I'm sorry to ask, but I have the same problem as of last week, and I don't know which terminal to type "sudo rm /Library/LaunchDaemons/*Quick* " in. I tried entering it several times, but I must be typing it in the wrong place because the deny allow quicklook search question keeps popping back. Thank you.

I did what you said but I can’t type my password. There’s a lock after.
I posted this question but just noticed that somehow it shows I am using macOS Sierra. I am actually using macOS Catalina version 10.15.2 (19C57). I don't see how to amend my original posting. If somebody can do that for me or educate me on how to do it, I would be in your debt.
I also had the same problem in the past week. It looks like a virus, and by deleting the related files fixes the problem for me.
Type
sudo rm /Library/LaunchDaemons/*Quick*
in the terminal and type the password
The terminal app can be found by searching, and restarting is truly needed.
Which password?
Your Login password.
I did this once and seemed to work, but the pop-up keeps coming back. When I try to run it again I get the following message,
rm: /Library/LaunchDaemons/*Quick*: No such file or directory
