New Phone

I want to buy an 11Pro but not online. Do I need to make an appointment through the Genius Bar to buy in the store and have them transfer my information from my old phone?

No. You don't need an appointment. Just walk in. The sales staff can help you with that.

Not sure how you would do that without a device and serial number. I'm pretty sure that if you buy one, they'll help you with that anyways since it's pretty easy to do with any demo Mac. It only takes a little bit of actual human input.

I'd really recommend doing it yourself at home. If you can't figure it out, then you can always get an appointment afterwards once it's registered with an Apple ID.
