Transferring music folder

I have my music on my pc organised in a folder and in certain order. Is there a way to transfer that music folder on to an Ipod touch 4 gen as it is?

Transfer the folder "Sad Songs" on to ipod so the actual folder appears in my ipod with the same name and the music to appear in the same order?

I have managed to create a folder in the itunes > ipod but every time i copy songs onto it works like a charm but when I check my ipod, it will show the folder i created but doesn't show the songs. It only shows the songs in the "song" tab and the songs appear in a alphabetical order not how it appears on my pc.

Any advice will be a great help.

Thank you.

I'm not sure what you have managed to do, but if you're using iTunes (the programme, on your computer) to manage your iPod, what you should be doing is creating a Playlist in iTunes and putting that on your iPod. That's what iTunes is for.

in iTunes, click on File/New/Playlist. An empty Playlist will appear in the iTunes sidebar. If the sidebar is not visible, click on View/Show Sidebar.

You can drag-and-drop the songs into this Playlist and rename it to "Sad Songs". You then add that Playlist to your iPod. If you use Sync, the Playlists should go on to it automatically. If you use Manually Manage, you will hae to drag the Playlist onto your iPod.

On your iPod is a specific list of Playlists, which will include the Sad Songs list.
