I cannot restore my iPad Pro 2018. 3 hours on phone with Apple Senior Tech Advisor and Screen Sharing and I keep getting the error message below. I am on an iMac 21" late 2015 running 10.15.2 Catalina with iPadOS 13.3.

I have deleted every backup in iCloud and iTunes, signed out of all iCloud accounts, tried restoring in recovery mode, and what makes the most nervous is that when 'Erasing all Content and Settings' on the iPad itself is when it gets to the welcome screen and appeared to be successful, in Settings ->About the name of the iPad is still the one I put there which needless to say is quit disturbing.

Before attempting anything else, it is strongly advised that you restart your Home Broadband Router.

Sometimes, the Router may block communication to certain Apple cloud resources - or have an issue with DNS Resolution. A simple restart of the router (i.e., power off, wait 30 seconds, reconnect power - and allow to reboot) will often resolve connection issues.

I hope this is helpful in resolving your problem.
