iPhone 11 ios 13.3 screen stays on while charging

Dear Community

I have an iphone 11 64gb with ios 13.3 and it catches my attention that every time it is connected charging the battery using lighting cable the screen stays on all te time. I realize that if someone sends me a message via whatsapp or any other system, the screen stays on and does not turn off, hours can go by with the screen on. I don't know if the same thing happens to you. sometimes the screen stays on even not received a message or anything I hope you can help me resolve this question. Thank you so much.

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. I understand you’re having some problems when charging your iPhone 11.

Let’s start by checking your Auto-lock settings:

Tap Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock
Be sure this is not set to ‘Never’

I also suggest testing a different charging cable and power source to charge your iPhone, to determine if the issue persists.

It is a good idea to remove any screen protectors or cases during the test as well. This will help isolate potential causes for the behavior.
