How do I round to two decimal places in "Numbers

Numbers has a handy feature called the Function browser.

Typing an = sign in any cell will open the Function browser in the right side bar.

In the browser's search box, typing the beginning of the name of any function supported by Numbers will focus the list shown in the browser by removing all the functions whose name does not contain the string of characters you have typed.

It does not take many characters to narrow the list to one containing the function you need.

RO brings ROUND into view.

Selecting ROUND (as shown above) brings a brief article into view below what is seen above:

The article includes a brief description of what the function does, followed by a diagram of the syntax of the function and a description of each of the function's arguments (num-to-round and digits).

Below that, you'll find at least one example of using the function in a spreadsheet table, then a See Also list of other functions with similar purposes.

So to answer your specific question:

Use ROUND

Syntax: ROUND(number,digits)

Replace number with the number you want to round, OR the formula that calculates that number.

Replace digits with the number of digits ( 2 ) you want after the decimal point.

(Note: Clicking Insert Function will place the selected function at the insertion point in the Function Editor, with 'hint lozenges' in each of the argument locations.

The insertion point is on the first argument, indicated by the darker shade. Beginning to type will immediately replace that argument name with the data of formula being typed.
