iPad user ID/ updating app

Every time I try to update an app, my friends Apple ID appears and asks for his password. I cannot change it, I’ve checked everywhere else on my device for any changes in the email addresses, they all have my correct email information....there is nothing connected with this other Apple ID. What is happening how do I fix this?

Are you sure that it is not possible that you have apps that were purchased/downloaded using a friend's Apple ID? All content is locked to the Apple ID used to purchase/download the content. It would therefore look for that ID to update. You can remove the app that is asking for that ID, and if you still use it, download it again with your Apple ID. You can also check in iTunes 7 App Stores and make sure you are logged in there with your Apple ID.
