Voice memo on iwatch

My voice memos are not syncing between my iPhone and iwatch.


i have the iPhone X and the iwatch series 5. Bluetooth on both, synced together. Settings say that voice memo is using the iCloud.


the voice recording I did on my iwatch is currently useless as I cannot do anything with it- it won’t transfer automatically to my phone and I can’t find a way to manually send it.


It has been over a month since recording so please don’t give me “give it time answer”.


I have had the app open together on iPhone and iwatch and nothing happens, also tried with both charging.


How can I fix this issue?

I have had this problem for some time, and after reading these suggestions, I rebooted both the iWatch and iPhone, and all the voice messages transferred to the iphone right away. /v
