Dear Sirs,
I have connected my DCR-PC1000E Handycam to my IMac with MacOS Catalina (bought late November 2019) , using an A1790, an A1463, firewire adapter, the firewire cable to the handycam.
All is connected. I downloaded LifeFlix DV Importer and editor. Unfortunately the program and the iMac don't recognise the Handy CAM.

Jan, does iMovie see it when the Cam is in Play mode?
I downloaded iMovie. And it worked immediately.
Unfortunately I just bought LifeFlix DV Importer for CHF 80 from the apple store. Thinking it was the correct program. Now it seems not compatible. Do you think I can get this amount reimbursed?
