Good morning, I have a situation that I would
like to know if it is possible to do. I need to create a temporary
administrative account, so that a user can use it, in case the system needs to
make some changes at the administrative level. For example, the account will
last 5 days and then be deactivated. Is this possible with mac mojave. Thanks
for any ideas.
You can create the account and then delete it whenever you need to.
It will not deactivate automatically.

This would need to a managed machine, Enterprise, mobile, active directory list...
If the device is bound to:
Active Directory
Mobile device management (MDM)
Device Enrollment Program (DEP)
Apple Configurator
Jamf Pro is comprehensive enterprise management
It would be best to just create a standard user account.
Or you could create a cron job which would delete the user account after a set period of time. I believe the "dscl" command is used to modify accounts. Of course anyone with admin access could discover and disable it.
Another option would be to lock the whole computer using FindMy when the five days are up.

My company, a large US Govt laboratory, has a way to elevate a person to administrator for a limited period of time, but I have no idea where they got it or how it works.

OK, thanks. That is something Apple need to think. I think Windows have that option for their accounts, maybe at network level.

Automatic deactivation of a user account is not an option in the consumer version of macOS.
I don't believe it is an option in the server versions of macOS, either.
Remote Administration is possible and might be an option for you.
