iPadOS 13 Files App Will Not Purge Recently Deleted Apps

Hello.

I have many files in the recently deleted section of the files app on my 11 inch iPad Pro 3rd generation running iPadOS 13.3, and none of them will permanently delete from the app; they will appear to be deleted, but when I reopen the app, they reappear. Even force shutting down my iPad did not fix the issue (pressing volume up, pressing volume down, and holding the power button did not work). Is there anything else I can try, because I do not want to reset my iPad, but I am losing disk space fast.

Note: They are all Google Drive files.
