Why does my iPhone ALWAYS ask to trust a computer

My iPhone 7, 8 and 11 have asked if I want to trust this computer every single time Cv I connect it to my Windows PC ... (the one I’ve had for all 3 phones). Why is this as I was under the impression that it was a one-off acceptance?

iPhone 11, iOS 13

It should, but carefully read this support article, following ALL the steps provided:--> About the 'Trust This Computer' alert on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

The iphone file system is locked by default .

When you mount on a PC you have to give that PC authority to “see” a limited sub set of folders every time . Its a simply security protocol .

Android is much the same.

Both show in Windows Explorer however neither display the files trees until you authorise the link in the phone itself .

Cepting that windows will present the “do you want” window on your PC and even then the phone has to give the authority before transfers are allowed .
