All my music is gone

All my music is gone from my iPhone. My music is still on my MacBook, I've tried to sync my music from my MacBook to my iPhone but it won't. Please help.

After I downgraded my MacOs from Mojave to Catalina, I lost my music on my iPhone. After installing Catalina, my iPhone was no longer showing up wirelessly on MacBook music app. I connected my iPhone to my MacBook via wire, and MacBook started "Backup" of my iPhone. Now, my iPhone has lost all the music I had moved on it from my MacBook manually, and all the playlists I had created on it, are also gone; even though, now through wifi connection, when my iPhone shows up on my MacBook, I double click on it, and the list displays all the music on my iPhone on the MacBook, but on my iPhone, I don't see any of that music!!!! How can I get my music back on iPhone?

Music on my MacBook won’t completely sync with my iPhone Running the latest software on both my MacBook Pro and iPhone 14 pro max. I have about 4,000 songs that are in “music” on the laptop, and all plays fine. When I sync my iPhone there are a bunch that are missing. All my music is in one folder saved on my computer. When in “music” everything is there and when I click on my iPhone listed in finder, it shows all those songs are on my phone but, they’re not. Spoke to Apple tech support today and he couldn’t figure it out either. Last suggestion is to wipe my iPhone clean and start all over again. Really don’t want to do that. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Synced music from iphone to macbook gone? Hi there, I have an older iPhone (6 I think) with music on it that I wanted to download to my 2020 MacBook so I plugged the phone into the laptop and chose the sync feature (selected artists). It warned me that it would remove music from iPhone after the sync which I was okay with since I assumed I would then have that music on my laptop. Did the sync and none of the music are on my iTunes and now no longer on my phone. Does anyone know what happened or if there is a way to recover?

Did you subscribe to Apple Music?

If yes, you'll have to download the missing music again directly onto your phone, using the Music App.
